My main problem is up to this morning calls were landing properly in every campaign, but now calls are not coming. i mean when we log in to any campaign up to 2 - 3 minutes everything is ok after that the call waiting time keeps rising from 3 -6 minutes. when resetting the hoppers and closing the campaign we see this kind of screen continuously. i am in serious shit friends . so please help me and give some advices.

call_issue.JPG (120 KB) call_issue.JPG call placing screen after 30 minutes of hopper reset and closing the campaign.

as the screen shots shows that there is no agents while dailling ,, or u force logging out the agent while calls being placed.

more over the details which u provided is not enough to analys ur issue.

1. make sure the hopper level is set to 500 or above based on ur agents availability. as hopper will reload every minute to fill the hopper level.
2. check the asterisk cli , whether the calls are being dialled without any trunk error or any other error ( asterisk -vvvr is the commadn)
3. if u have enabled AMD detection ,then u wil be facing more wait time if the leads has lots of anwering machine nos.

thanks for your reply. My problem is that after 2-3 minutes of dialing there is a very long wait time of calls like 3-5 minutes but not a single call is placed. And the big problem is that its keep showing the same thing that " calls being placed .. " after closing the campaign and logging off of the agents. i have checked all the logs generated by the asterisk and didn't find any kind of error. suggest me something now today calls are even taking a lot of time to get mature. i have tried your suggestion but it didn't work for me.

RE: call waiting issue - Added by Demian Biscocho almost 11 years ago

Looks like you are using an older version of GOautodial (2.1). Please upgrade to the latest version. Check the Wiki pages for the HOWTOs. Let us know if you still encounter issues after upgrading.

RE: call waiting issue - Added by Hari Shankar almost 11 years ago

ok i will try to upgrade it to the latest one but my only concern is do i have to take back up of present system settings, campaign and leads or after the up gradation only the system files will be changed and all other settings will be untouched . please update me on this thing. thanks for your feedback.

RE: call waiting issue - Added by Demian Biscocho almost 11 years ago

It's always recommended to create a backup of the system before performing the upgrade (in case something wrong happens). The upgrade to GOautodial 3.0 will migrate your existing data and keep your current settings.

Thanks for your help. I will try to upgrade my server after backup .

RE: call waiting issue - Added by Hari Shankar almost 11 years ago

but before upgrading the server can you check is there any issue in asterisk ?

RE: call waiting issue - Added by Ashwin krishna over 10 years ago

Hello
I am also facing the CALL WAITING ISSUE. The DROPPED PERCENT IS ONLY 2.22 and in the 8 hours of calling an agent will only get 150 calls to speak. I did not find any solution for this and since we were facing some other problem my we cleared the caches and junks in the asterisk and then it started working good. After doing this the DROPPED PERCENT came to 16 and each agent got 400 calls to speak.. But after few day again the same problem exists...Can any one find a solution for this..We are not able to identify where the error would be...Please guide us ...

thank u
