System Will Not Login To Phone

Hello, so I downloaded and installed the Goautodial 4 iso and followed the getting started guide to a T. I had a couple issues where I had to edit files to input my default server IP (localhost IP). I thought I got all the config files that would include this, but when I login as the user I created and click login to dialer, it just sits on the loading screen and says "logging into your phone, please wait..." and nothing. I am sitting in the system looking at asterisk CLI and no error messages are popping up. No idea where to go from here, any troubleshooting, help would be appreciated.

Also, I could not login to the phone with Zoiper using the default " EXTERNAL " protocol, had to change to SIP. Not sure if this is an issue, but it works on SIP, not on EXTERNAL

Thank you so much for your help, I am so used to using Goautodial 3 that I didnt even realize the default is to use the WebRTC, which I would be fine using but neither one work. I have gone through all the things you listed and using a softphone am getting the message attached. Also attached is my Zoiper settings, which shows that extension and it being registered. So I am assuming its the communication between the two. Please advise of any troubleshooting I could do to solve this issue.

Hi,

Which of the two steps you have used?

https://goautodial.org/projects/goautodialce/wiki/HOWTO_Enable_Softphones_Registration_per_User

Try the following for troubleshooting:

1. Enable webrtc and try to login. (you should able to login)
2. If you are able to login using webrtc, try to disable webrtc and login using softphone.
3. Create a new users and follow the steps 1 and 2.

I tried both of the methods you listed and just tried to enable WebRTC and login, it just sits at "Logging into your phone.... please wait" indefinitely. Please see attached for screenshot.

Hi,

That issue means you have missed some config in rtpengine or kamailio or both are not running. I recommend to visit and review below link:

1. https://goautodial.org/projects/goautodialce/wiki/Goautodial_Getting_Started_Guidev4 (Please read/review Administration Gui Settings and Configuration Files to check Section)

Make sure also your able to login and make calls before enabling Softphone Registration.

Hi Jon,

initially, I had the same problem as you but after trying many attempts to build a working goautodial V4 server finally, I found the right steps to make it work.
