Login problem when install GOAutoDial 4

Added by Jan Delle about 4 years ago

Hello ,
As you can see , I changed the IP in the root. After I reboot the computer , I can't log in with : login (goadmin) , pass (GOautodia2018).
Should I put internal or external IP.We have a server that connects about 30 computers.I tried both internal and external IP , but it doesn't work.
When I add IP in the root , should I reboot the computer ?

Second, if maybe you can help me to do it from the beginning in the settings. There appears automatically all configuration with IP adress, but it didn't work anyway.

Thanks.

Hello, if you are installing Goautodial from an image (ISO), then for the correct installation you need to configure IP address before starting the installation of the system, on the initial screen, select the settings, it is better not to get the settings via DHCP but write it yourself (Manual)

It depends on what you need, in my case I didn’t think about moving the server out of the local network, so I have an internal IP

Hi,

If you have DHCP in your network just set it. During installation your server should have dedicated IP.

Thanks

you need to configure a static ip address during installation, you can find out how to do this in any search engine, unfortunately I do not know your network to tell
