Remote access to goautodial webapp

Added by Brandon S over 10 years ago

I just installed goautodial on a single server on my work network. I would like to be able to access that server from my home network, how can I do this?

Typically I just use https://192.168.1.x/ while on the local network, but this obviously won't work while on a different network.

I do know the public IP Address of the network the server is installed on and have full access to the router settings if needed.

Nevermin I answered my own question.

I needed to enable port forwarding for incoming requests, Then use https://publicip/

I take that back. Upon getting home it still would not work after opening up all incoming ports on the router.

Is there a server side firewall I need to access and change a setting on?

By default, the built-in firewall (IPtables) is enabled. Here are the list of opened ports:

TCP: 21, 22, 80 and 443
UDP: 4569, 5060, 10,000 to 60,000
