IAX2 Carrier
Added by Mark Fairchild over 10 years ago
Hi,
I'm brand new to GoAutoDial 3.0 CE. I'd like to set up an IAX2 Carrier to connect with justgovoip. What settings do I need?
Can I still get the free 60 minutes using the IAX2 Carrier?
Thanks.

Hey Mark,
Our JustGoVoIP SIP switch only supports SIP (as most class 4/5 switches does). Any problems using SIP on your GOautodial CE 3.0?

Well, we currently have a FreePBX distro that runs our phone system. It uses SIP trunks. I'm not ready to just transfer everything over to the GoAutoDial, so I was hoping that by using an IAX2 trunk for the GoAutoDial, I could have the two systems coexist. The idea would be, for incoming calls, it'd be port 5060, which I could do the port forwarding in my router to go to the FreePBX box, and then for the IAX2, it'd be port 4569, which I could then port-forward to the GoAutoDial box.
But, maybe I could accomplish the same thing by using a non-standard port for the justgoVoIP trunk? Like 5061 or something?

Why not configure JustgoVoIP in your FreePBX as another trunk and have all calls forwarded to your GOautodial server?
JustGoVoIP <-> FreePBX <-> GOautodial
