Incoming Calls

Added by Mark Fairchild almost 10 years ago

I am using GOautodial 3.0CE.

I want to be able to receive calls via IAX protocol. I have found a vendor, mydivert.com that will provide the service, but I need help setting up GOautodial to do it.

I have verified that I can receive calls using the Zoiper softphone connected directly to their service. All I needed was to enter the username (which is the phone number that I want to receive calls on), the domain (sip.didtrunk.com) and the password they supplied me with. I also use their portal to configure their system to send calls via IAX2 to my external IP address, with a port number. I also forwarded, for testing purposes, port 4569 in my router to the IP address of my laptop where Zoiper is running.

When I do this, I have verified with test calls, Zoiper gets the call no problem. This is without a registration string. I do not want to make outgoing calls via mydivert, I will be making outgoing calls with justgovoip! I'm only interested in getting incoming calls via IAX2.

But, I can't seem to figure out how to get GOautodial to accept the incoming call from mydivert.com. I have forwarded port 4569 in my router to the IP address of the GOautodial system (192.168.1.2). I have set up a carrier for mydivert, and made it active (although I'm not sure I have those settings properly).

In the campaign settings, there is a choice of "Carrier to use for this Campaign". I have it set to the govoip carrier, because that's what I want to use for outgoing calls.

Can I receive incoming calls on a different carrier?

Hi Mark,

Yes you can receive incoming calls from other carrier, you just need to ask them for the required carrier settings and the extension that will be sent to your server.

Thanks

make sure your trunk is registered properly

type
iax show peers and iax show registry

once the trunk got registered

1. create a NEW DID in goautodial
2. create a New Ingroups
3. In newly created DID ,set the DID route to Ingroup and select teh ingroup from dropdown
4. set your campaign to Blended enabeled and select the ingroups.
