Change Web access port

Added by Edmund Uba over 10 years ago

Greetings!

Is there a possibility that i can change the web access port so that they'll access like this instead http://192.168.1.2:8888 ? Or use two ports to access like 80 and 8888? If its possible, how?

Thanks

We haven't tried it yet. However, it's possible of course. Just edit the apache configuration file so that the web server uses a different port number.

Can you tell me how to configure it? I would like my agents to login using a different port for security purposes since I will be port forwarding it.

To edit the apache configuration file, run the command "vi /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf".
