Hi,
Just go to Admin Settings > Voicemails to configure your Voicemail, To listen, you can either go to the folders and files, download it from your system and Play it. The voicemail files are saved on your server folder /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/.

you can dial either 8500 or 8501 to listen to your voicemails in vicidial

so when i call both of those extensions and type in the extension number say for example 8001 by default has voice mail 8001 but whats the password. so with that thinking i went and changed it to say 0001 for extension 8001 than i went to the Voice mails section in my admin settings and added a voice mail 0001 with a password and i dial 8500 and it wont let me login.. i call and leave a message and it definitely goes to the correct voice mail box.... im so confused. anyone able to lend a quick hand please. :-)

your " Login Password:"(Under Phones) is the password of the Voicemail.
make sure it should be numerical.
to check the voicemail password is updated properly go to vi /etc/asterisk/voicemail.conf
