I am also interested in this same question but did not want to start a new thread for the same question. Also does Answering Machine Detection work right out of install?

Hey Guys,
When doing more than 50 agents, it's recommended to do a multi-server setup. This means having the database, web server and telephony components in separate servers. For 20 agents or less, a standard quad core CPU, 4 GB of RAM, SSD is sufficient for normal dialing (Up to 1:3 dial level ratio, g711 code, call recordings enabled and etc).
For virtualization environment running in production, we recommend para-virtualization (OpenVZ, LXC and etc) over full virtualization (KVM, Xen, ESX and etc). Call quality issues (related to inaccurate timer clock used by Asterisk meetme rooms), high CPU overhead are some of the issues a in fully virtualized environments.
Answering machine detection works out of the box when enabled on your campaign. Detection works up to 70%.
