Back and restore

Hello

Please help me in doing a complete backup of my goautodial server to a usb hard disk, i want the campaigns ,agents, recordings leadsets all to be backed up to a hard disk, and at times of disaster i should be able to reinstall same version of goautodial and would be able to restore the same..

also would like to know if there is any way i can do incrimental back of the above so that i have latest backup in case of emergency..

Check the Vicidial backup script:

/usr/share/astguiclient/ADMIN_backup.pl

This should be able to backup the necessary files for your GOautodial server.

hi

When i tried running the command ADMIN_backup.pl

it generated a single file " 192.168.2.4_ALL_1.tar.gz

i un-tared the file and found in the /var/log/astguiclient/archive/temp

gz and tar files ,, such as asterisk , LINUX_1 , WEB_1 , SOUNDS_1, VOICEMAIL_1....etc

,

so i would like to know where will my recordings be backed up. or is there some thing else i need to do.

please help i am in need to do this as my existing server it shows utilization very high (my server hardware has problem) so thought of changing to a higher end server. but making
sure there is no changes with the existing setup.

Try running the script with the "--help" option to see what are your available options. The script doesn't backup your recorded calls though. You need to manually to that.
