No ringing when dialing

Hi,

We are using goautodial 3.3 update from 3.0 ISO installation, agent needs to hear ringing tones while dialing manuel number

Asterisk version: Asterisk 1.8.23.0-1_centos5.go RPM

Dial plan:
exten = _9X.,1,AGI
exten = _9X.,2,Dial(${IAXTRUNK}/${EXTEN:1},,tTor)
exten = _9X.,3,Hangup

Ringing tones depend on your SIP carrier. Since the manual call is being placed via the agent UI through Asterisk, it receives whatever the SIP carrier sends back. Compared to softphones and hardphones that generate fake rings, manual dial through the agent UI does not.

i'm using a IAX2 carrier and it supports Ringing tones

The your agents should hear ringing tones if your carrier sends them back.

On your dial plan try removing the "r" off the end of line 2.

I had the same issue if the "r" is in place we dont get the ring with one of our carriers. Once we remove it the agent get's ringing ok from the carrier.

Just noticed your dial plan...

May possibly be
exten = _9X.,1,AGI in line one

should it be
exten => _9X.,1,AGI

Possibly agi isnt reconizing that the call has been placed?
