How to reduce init time?

Hello,

When I enter the outbound campaign as an agent (autodial mode), the system starts to dial the leads for me, so when someone picks up the phone - as i understand, it creates a conference and then add me to it.

But the problem is that to person on the line waits ~5-6seconds before I am added, probably because of the conference setting/adding time. So, when someone picks up the phone, he doesn't hear anything for several seconds and he might thought there's nobody on the other side.

I am not sure where is the cause of the problem: asterix or GoAutoDial (vicidial). Is there any way to reduce this 'initiation time'?

Once you login to the agent UI, the system places you (or your agent/user) on a meetme conference room. The system will start to dial once you press the resume button. Normally, it takes less than a second or two to connect the other end to the agent. If you have AMD (answering machine detection), this can take up to a few seconds. Check if you have AMD enabled in your campaign settings.

Thanks for your reply and help, Demian! Really appreciate it. The issue is gone after I switched off the AMD.
