Installation on a distant dedicated server (Linux Centos)

Added by Zakaria ABIDI over 10 years ago

Hello everybody,

It's my first post on the forum, i have seen the tutorial about the installation of the Goautodial platform but they propose to download the .iso file, in my case i have a dedicated distant server (it turn on linux Centos) and i can not boot from a CD, do some one have the correct way to install it (download, boot and install it)?

Or some one has the same case before? or do i need a softwares to have the correct environnement (Apach..).

I'm looking forward for your reply.

Thank you

Hi Jefferson,

Thank you for your fast reply.

Do you have the link of the last version of the project (v3), because i can see on the link that concerne old version (2.1 => # wget http://downloads2.goautodial.org/centos/5/goautodial.repo) when i google it i can found only the .iso download.

And do you think that i need a specific environment (PHP or something before the installation)?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards.

The HOWTO is for GOautodial CE v3.0. You have the correct links. Please go over the instructions carefully. You should have a 32bit or 64bit CentOS 5.9 installed in your remote server.

Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: goautodial-addons. Please verify its path and try again

For information i use Centos 6, i don't know wher i can change the link and put .../centos/5/.. in place of .../centos/6/.. because this file exist when you change the number of version.

Thank you.

Kind regards

The instructions were pretty specific. You need to use CentOS 5.9 as your base operating system.
