Difference between the open source and cloud version?

Added by Brandon Sturgeon almost 5 years ago

I have multiple companies with both sales and customer service teams. 1 also has a small call center as well. What I am looking to do is sort of simple, I want to maintain control of the entire system and have access to everything and make sure the actual person only deals with his leads and cant see anyone elses.

What is the difference between the cloud and the open source program? Is it completly the same, with the only difference being commercialization.

Things I want to know is can I keep each manager and company seperate from one another without everyone looking.

Is there a way to automate the Production of phone numbers with twilio and plivo without manually assigning numbers to each person?

Thank you

Now that I think about it, the phone numbers should not be a concern at all. We dont have thousands of employees(yet).

The open source version and the cloud version pretty much shares the same code base. Aside from commercial support, the cloud version can scale up to hundreds if not thousands of seats when needed.

We use to have true multi-tenant feature on our previous version of cloud (version 3.X). This means you can have multiple companies running under a single account independently from each other. We haven't completed porting this yet to the current cloud (version 4.X).

A possible workaround is registering an account for each of the individual companies that you have. Let's discuss this off-board. My email: .
