How to make mandatory to fill customer info before hang up

HI,
I am using Goautodial 2.4. i need to make mandatory to some customer info field as like first name, Last name Address. I have created a custom field and i did Field Required to Y but it is not functioning. Without filling any data in Custom filed, Agent can be hang up and then dispose the call. Please provided your kind assistance to me.

Filed help "i have nothing entered"
Field Type " I have selected TEXT"

Hi,
By default Firstname is already in the field system, kindly add a different Field Label, Field Name (eg fname) also you can do visit our tutorials link http://www.goautodial.org/projects/goautodialce/wiki/Hosted_Howto_Add_Custom_Fields
