DID 'extension not found'

Added by Archana Singh about 10 years ago

Hi,
Initially I was able to test call outbound for '1800XXXXXXX' with justgovoip carrier now I am trying to make outbound for '14XXXXXXXXX'(DID)with GOVOIP Carrier. but in Asterisk CLI it is showing 'extension not found'.
while making call on the DID an agent screen gets following message :

"DIAL ALERT:

Call Rejected: CONGESTION
Cause: 29 - Facilities rejected."

Kindly help me to solve this.

Thanks!

Please post your Asterisk CLI when dialing.

First of all thanks for reply Sir!

After testing I got to know the fact that actually Outbound is working because the call is going on 18XX-XXX-XXX numbers but there is problem with Inbound and DID Configurations. According to your HOW TO in wiki tab I have configured the DID and Inbound Campaign but when i make a call on this DID then it shows extension not found.

CLI OUTPUT:

====================================

chan_sip.c:15566 handle_request_invite: Call from 'voipline1' to extension 'voipline1' rejected because extension not found.

====================================

Please let me know How may I add a extension to Ingroup so that call may be forwarded to that extension belonging to ingroup.

Thanks & Regards!

Hi ,

I have already followed that how to setup . I am using GoAutoDial CE 3.0 with Asterisk 1.4 to test the inbound. Every time I make a call it comes into asterisk server with the following CLI:
"NOTICE[5521]: chan_sip.c:15566 handle_request_invite: Call from 'voip1' to extension 'voip1' rejected because extension not found."

I have purchased Vicidial Manager manual too but still I am not able to get the clue.

Kindly help me too solve this. Any clue will be helpful.

Thanks & Regards!

Just follow the HOWTO and replace the example DID with your own DID. Also post your Asterisk CLI when receiving the call.

Hi,

I have already followed HOWTO and posted the concise Asterisk CLI in previous post. Again I am posting CLI while making an OUTBOUND CALL to DID number(to test INBOUND) in details as follows :
