increase limit agents

hi,
on goautodial 2.1 if I copy the database to another server with the same or another Linux distribution (with the command update database "go admin -> system network -> update database ip") how much gain in terms of operations that is, how many agents can work simultaneously?? Now with a server all-in-one I managed to get up to 25/30 agents with a quad-core 2.6ghz, 4gb ram and codec g729 or gsm

Hi Fonzo,

The number of agent is base on your Server or CPU specs and also the ratio of your predictive dialing, If you use 1 to 1 ratio then recommended for single server setup is 25-30 agents. In terms of codec this will be quality vs. cpu usage vs bandwidth you will consider.

shame! vicidial and osdial have this function to split the server!

Of course you can do that too. Just follow the Vicidial documentation on how to setup a multi-server system.
