Manual Outbound Campaign Next Call greyed out

Hi All,
I've created a manual outbound campaign. Leads are loaded and hopper is full.
Everything seemed OK and ready to go. However when the agents ended their first call there is no way to click on Next Call as it is greyed out.
They have resorted to logging out of the agent screen and back in to make the next call.
I've followed tutorials and the manual. I thought it was quite straightforward until this.
Is there something I might be missing here?

It's a bit of an old installation - I'm planning an upgrade
ISO install GoAutoDial CE 2.1
Kernel Version 2.6.18-238.9.1.el5.goPAE (SMP)
Anywoo,
I upgraded to 3.3 and everything is so much better.
What a relief!
