AMD 8 Core Or INTEL i7 processor?

Hi Guys

I am preparing a server & my Dialer support rep has advised me to try AMD FX 8350 Processor as it is cheap and has more cores as compared to i7. I wanted to know if the above will support a traffic of 40 agents with 200 calls.

Which processor works smoothly & efficiently with goautodial?

AMD and Intel processors works with GOautodial (since the base OS is CentOS Linux). There are a number of factors to consider for setting up your server (aside from the number of agents and calls).

1. Are you recording all conversation?
2. What kind of trunk are you going to use (E1/T1, PSTN, VoIP and etc)?
3. If VoIP, what codec are you going to use?
