Vitelity carrier setup question

Added by Mike Abel almost 11 years ago

Hello I have a newly installed goautodial-ce 3.0. Has anyone successfully used vitelity for both an outbound and inbound carrier? If so I would really appreciate seeing what the account settings looked like.

I've changed these multiple times without luck. I don't know if I need a global string either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is copied from sip-vicidial.conf:

; WARNING- THIS FILE IS AUTO-GENERATED BY VICIDIAL, ANY EDITS YOU MAKE WILL BE LOST
register => username::5060

; VICIDIAL Carrier: vitel-inbound - vitel-inbound
[vitel-inbound]
disallow=all
allow=gsm
allow=g729
allow=ulaw
type=friend
username=username
secret=password
host=inbound24.vitelity.net
dtmfmode=rfc2833
context=trunkinbound
qualify=yes
insecure=very
nat=yes

; VICIDIAL Carrier: vitel-outbound - vitel-outbound
type=friend
dtmfmode=auto
username=username
secret=password
fromuser=username
trustrpid=yes
sendrpid=yes
canreinvite=no
host=outbound.vitelity.net

As a side note, I cannot select these carriers in a campaign either.

Hi,

Good day! Kindly apply both settings by manually adding your carrier on "Carrier settings". Navigate to Admin settings > Carriers > Click "Add New Carrier" > then on the Carrier type: Manual and input your carrier settings on the field provided.

Regards,
Ryan

Hello,

thanks for the reply. I do not have a question on where to enter the carrier settings. These setting are already setup as a carrier. That is why I copied my sip-vicidial.conf file. The issue is they are not working and I was hoping to get some direction from someone who has been able to get vitelity to work with goautodial.

Thank you

You need to post your Asterisk CLI when you're dialing. You also need to adapt your configuration for GOautodial. It looks like you are basing your configuration from a default Asterisk/FreePBX system.
