licensing FAQ

I know that vicidial is GPL, but how does that impact goautodial? I see that there's .com and .org, it looks like a form of dual licensing. Tangentially, I noticed that Elastix 2.5 is available for download, but not 5.x -- it's marked as proprietary.

What's the licensing? I see that it's noted as GPLv2, but just don't want to get too involved before finding out some key component is proprietary.

The GoAutoDial open source dialer system is released under GPLv2 (GPL). Individual packages in the distribution come with their own licenses.
