Hosted Howto Configure Zoiper
1. Download Zoiper from http://www.zoiper.com/¶
2. Double Click the downloaded installer and you should be able to see a window similar to the image below, click Next
3. Accept the license agreement by clicking I Agree
4. Click Next
5. Click Next
6. Click Install
7. Click Finish
8. Launch Zoiper and the main interface should look like this:
9. Phone credentials can be viewed on your admin Dashboard "Agents and Phones" section by clicking Password [show].
10. To configure an account click the Options button
11. Zoiper is capable of handling SIP or IAX voip protocols, configure your Softphone with the provided credentials then click OK
12. For Audio Option Click Audio codec choose GSM, u-Law, and a-Law and Click OK
13. Zoiper successfully registered
Hosted Howto Configure Xlite40¶
1. Download Xlite 4 from http://www.mediafire.com/?0sadkuko27f1jqc and click the Download (16.87MB) below "X-Lite_Win32_4.1_63214.exe"
2. Double Click the downloaded installer and you should be able to see a window similar to the image below, just click Run:
3. Click Next
4. Accept the license agreement and Click Next
5. Click Next
6. Click Install
7. Click Finish
8. Phone credentials can be viewed on your admin Dashboard "Agents and Phones" section by clicking Password [show].
9. Configure your Softphone with the provided credentials then click OK
10. Click Softphone on xlite's main screen then click Preferences
11. Go to Audio Codecs Tab, enable GSM and click OK
12. Xlite4.0 sucessfully registered
How to configure Xlite5¶
1. Download Xlite 5 from http://www.counterpath.com/x-lite.html
2. Double Click the downloaded installer and you should be able to see a window similar to the image below, just click Run:
3. Click Next
4. Accept the license agreement and Click Next
5. Click Next
6. Click Install
7. Click Finish
8. Main page of Xlite will appear
9. Close the screen
10. You will hear a start up voice prompt.
11. Phone credentials can be viewed on your admin Dashboard "Agents and Phones" section by clicking Password [show].
12. Go to preferences and change the audio codecs of your softphone to G711 Alaw, G711 Ulaw and GSM.
13. Message will appear on your softphone to make sure that the softphone is properly configured and registered "Account enabled. Phone is ready"
