Feature #1371
closedCodec g729 and sip.conf settings

Description
I am a beginner for goautodial.
In Goautodial do we need the g729 codec to dial out? If yes is there any way to get the free g729 codec for Xeon X3430 Processor. I tried nonoca and core2 codecs but when I load the codec I get either ELFCLASS64 or if I use 32 bit it says _ast_pthread_mutex_lock error. Not able to install the codec.
And my second issue is I am getting a notice in CLI> NOTICE5789: chan_sip.c:8208 sip_reg_timeout: -- Registration for '[email protected]' timed out, trying again (Attempt #3565).
and NOTICE5789: chan_sip.c:17601 sip_poke_noanswer: Peer '8001' is now UNREACHABLE! Last qualify: 102
[Jul 22 07:02:45] NOTICE5789: chan_sip.c:13822 handle_response_peerpoke: Peer '8001' is now Reachable. (103ms / 2000ms).
I am using eyebeam softphone.
My DNS settings are attached. I am not using the static IP directly. I am using DLink switch and done the port forwarding.
I am able to ping google and I am getting replies as well. Please help.

Hi kishan,
you can download the g729 codec for below sites for 32 bit installation of goautodial 2.0 with asterisk 1.4.
after downloading paste it on /usr/lib/module/ folder. After that load this module in asterisk server.
step are given below.
1. login using root user.
2.[root@locahost]#asterisk -vvr
3. localhost*CLI>module load codec_g729-ast14-gcc4-glibc-pentium4.so "load the g729 codec module"
4. now check whether G729 has been loaded correctly.
localhost*CLI>show translations " you can see the digits in g729 column"
5. now go to /etc/asterisk/sip.conf and allow g729 codec
add allow=g729 below line disalow=all
and restart the asterisk server. now your server will work with g729 codec.

Dec 29, 2017 - That's why I wrote you down here how Google Flights works. In addition, there are other tools such as IATA Matrix or Momondo at the end of or even the (partially cheaper) prices with organizers to search and book, but basically it is only about finding availability. So let's take a closer look at the GOOGLE ...
