GoFireWall blockall setup

Added by ron anderson over 11 years ago

I have installed feature 43 gofirewall whitelist. I fully understand how to add a ip to the whitelist.
But how do you add blockall so only the whitelist are accepted?

Hi Ron,

You can use IPtables application built-in with CentOS in order to have a customized firewall.
Please check this howto http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Network/IPTables for more information.

I am assuming from your answer that the goautodial firewall interface is not capable of blockall and then just allow whitelist. If you do not have blockall what would be the purpose of the whitelist in Gofirewall?
Thanks for your comment. I will proceed to do it with centOS IPtables unless someone advises on a easier way to enable blockall.

After studing this problem and setting up the IPtables in CentOS(works great)
If feature 43 when downloaded cleared go_firewll_rule.pl and then reloaded all the CentOS IPtables commands
Feature 43 Firewall would work great.
I am just thinking outloud.
