3-way call not placing client on hold

Hello

I have a goautodial 3.3 server up and working its (6cores 8GB on vmware) with one little issue, when an agent is on a call and they need to transfer it away to an external number or extension they click park customer dial but the call does not place the client called on hold and when its answered by the closer all three people are still on the call. Could anyone suggest where i begin to look how to fix this?
