The call come to the agent desktop and does not ring at the Phone

Hello;

The call reach to the agent desktop and we can see the caller id at the agent desktop, but the Phone does not ring ! WHY?

Also, when the agent login and the Phone ring, this is a condition to happen? What should I do when pickup the phone or only I have to pickup the handset (and hearing the message that I am the only one in the conference or something like this) and then hangup?

Appreciate the kindly advise and help.

Hi Bilal,

We suggest that kindly go to our getting started guide at http://goautodial.org/projects/goautodialce/wiki/Goautodial_Getting_Started_Guide.

If the phone you configure to your agent is not ringing you can check:
1.the phone is register in your dialer
2.Check the codec of your softphone or ip phone. you should have GSM,Ulaw,Alaw or g729
3.Check your firewall configuration port 5060 and rtp port 10000-20000 should be accepted.
