chan_dahdi.conf and zaptel.conf

Hi;
After installing goautodial at my machine, I noticed that chan_dahdi.conf is not existed under /etc/asterisk/ and there are some zapata.conf and zaptel.conf, WHY?
If we are going to use dahdi, then why to have zaptel? How can I know if I am going to use dahdi or zaptel? Also, why I do not see the chan_dahdi.conf under the /etc/asterisk?
