Where is asterisk source code so I can activate CDR ?

Added by Andrew B over 9 years ago

I need to activate Call Detail Record (CDR) logging (with mysql). According to everything I've read I need to recompile asterisk (with make menuselect) and select the mysql addon. So, I need to know where the asterisk source code is installed by goautodial. Or if goautodial has another way of accomplishing the same goal.

Thank you in advance.

I suppose I should also mention that the intent is to install a2billing, so as to be able to bill clients for phone time used.

You can download the SRPMs in our repository (http://downloads2.goautodial.org/centos/5/updates/SRPMS/). The recommended way of integrating A2billing is by having A2billing on another server. Though of course it's possible to do it in the same server. However, it's easier and less messy if it's via another server.
