Newbie Here. Help with everything please

Added by David Ryan Junio over 9 years ago

Good Day Everyone!
I would like to ask for some help, step by step guide, easy to understand installation instruction on installing, setting up and configuring and of course to have the entire call center suite running and go for production.

Here are the details
ISP - cable dsl 2mbps
Server - Custom AMD A4 with 8gb RAM 4gbx2 and 500gb hdd sata 3 with dvd
ISP goes through from the modem to a dlink router that has 4ports then from there what's next?

the main ISP cable goes through the router WAN port and then from the port 1 is where i put the lan cable that goes through the server and the port 2 is where i plugged in another ethernet cable that goes to a 8port switch wherein I plug in all of my workstations. I have a total of 4 workstations that are plug in to the 8port switch

I downloaded and would like to install the 64 bit version (http://goautodial.org/attachments/download/3231/goautodial-64bit-ce-3.3-final.iso.html)

So, I followed the instructions on installing it up to the point wherein it would ask for setting up a static IP and that's where everything is a bit messed up for me then. there was a time wherein i got it installed and all but then it would just have no sessions available at all and please please please someone do help me

here's my Skype ID so I can explain in better detail : davidroj666

thanks!

Hi,

Did you run the update_server_ip command after changing IP address.

1. login to your router and check the dhcp range.
2. assign a IP which is not in DHCP range to the server for eg dhcp range is 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.100
give 192.168.0.111 as server ip ( type setup in command line of goautodial to set ip manually)

3. give proper ip , subnetmask ,gateway, dns..
4. once done ping the server ip from your workstations.
5. ping google.com form the server console.

    (1-2/2)
    Go to top
