AutoAltDial Methods and other questions
Hi everyone. I'm evaluating goautodial and vicidial for a Project. So far, goautodial looks much more user oriented than vicidial build from scratch, but there is some features i'm missing :
- AutoAltDial Methods : You can choose AutoAltDial in vicidial campaign configurations, but it's missing from goautodial campaign config. Will be considered for goautodial development or there is an alternative way to make it work?
- IE clients: If you use Internet Explorer, goautodial redirects to a webpage for downloading Mozilla. Looking the code, there is a routine that evaluate if the browser is mozilla or chrome and then make the redirection. Such code is used because goautodial does not support IE ? It's safe to use goautodial in a IE environment ?
- How an individual colaborate to make a goautodial translation ?

Hi,
Good day! Thank you for your concern. We can include that feature on our next update/release, You can enable that feature using the ViciDial admin Http://ServerIP/vicidial/admin.php. We do recommend Mozilla Firefox for it is more stable and secured than Internet Explorer.

We highly recommend Firefox or Google Chrome. You'll notice that if you remove the redirection code, the GOadmin page doesn't render properly (when using IE). IE doesn't comply to international coding standards.
If you can take a look or help on how to develop the language files for translation to other languages, we'd appreciate that (and put you on the credits page as one of the contributors). We'd love the community to contribute to our open source project.
