Hello, I just have a few noob questions before we make the switch:
Background-- Outbound call center- 40 desks/agents, around 30,000 minutes a month (on the low end), currently using other auto dialer software via Windows workstations and Zoiper.
1) What kind of server will I need to run this thing? Would a Dell Precision Workstation be feasible? Or will I need a real live blade server to operate Centos? Either way, it will be a dedicated machine. Just want to hear experience on both sides-- what specs are people running also.
2) Can GoAutoDial be completely run on a ChromeBox on Chrome OS? Basically-- Does it need anything beyond a Google Chrome web browser on the client/agent end? If not are there other thin client recommendations?
3) What is the most cost effective way to get the minutes from the outside world? Does ANYTHING unmetered for local and log distance exist?
