Call not hanging up
We are having an issue with our dialer. When an agent has finished a call and is in disposition the previous call is still active. They can still hear the call is active even though they are in disposition. Sometimes the previous call is still active when a new call comes in.
What could be causing this?

What you can check the following:
1.Your agents computer load.
2.Current bandwidth usage (Make sure your internet is not loaded) that makes delay between agents PC and servers if your accessing your dialer outside your network.
3.Network stability between your agents PC and server.

I am trying to help you here based on my Asterisk experience:
The previous call should be not existed on the IP Phone or the Softphone, so based on what you are considering it active?
Your provider is SIP Trunk or Dahdi Telephone Lines?
If the previous call disappeared in the IP Phone or the Softphone and you still see it in the Server Asterisk Consol or Dashboard or the destination Mobile as active, then it is a matter of detecting the hangup and this can be resolved by settings the proper configuration for the timeout.
